Lighthouses are the largest and the most important objects of maritime signaling which, with their light emission, are providing day and night secure navigation of certain sea area. TAJER

This lighthouse consists of a large stone building that is connected with the monumental iron tower. It is located in a pine tree forest with large yard. Both apartments have a fantastic view on the Kornati islands, Dugi Otok island and endless sea. Spacious waterfront provides ample space for sunbathing and entry into the sea is possible with simple stairs. Sailing from Sukošan to the lighthouse takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and is a special experience because it passes through the narrow channel and the Kornati archipelago. On Tajer there are no shops so it is necessary to do shopping in Sukošan.

STRUGA

In the middle of the southern side of the island of Lastovo lays the Cape of Struga on which is the lighthouse of the same name of capacity of 15 people. Lastovo is a sparsely populated island located 55 NM from Split and Dubrovnik, while its archipelago consists of 40 islands, islets and rocks. To the town of the same name as lighthouse is 12 km, and on the island there are several restaurants so you can fully enjoy your stay. Magnificent views and easy access to the sea through the pine woods on the northern side of the lighthouse will delight you. Concrete beach is located in a pine grove behind the lighthouse. You can swim on beautiful rocky beaches in some of the numerous secluded bays where waters are relatively shallow. They are suitable for children.

SUĆURAJ

Lighthouse on three sides surrounded by the sea and indented, low and rocky coast is a few meters away from the sea. It is located in the town of Sućuraj, a small fishing and tourist village on the eastern tip of the Hvar island. It is an ideal place for those who want to enjoy the beautiful nature, clean water and peace away from the stress and crowds. It consists of a quadrangle stone tower and a building that is a four-room house. Enjoying the view of the sea and archipelago will be complete with a gazebo with a barbecue where you can taste our specialties and a dock for boats which is also part of the lighthouse.

PALAGRUŽA

Palagruža lighthouse was built on a small island in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, between the Italian and Croatian coasts, 68 NM south of Split and 26 NM south of the island of Lastovo. It is also a nature reserve with flora and fauna endemic species. The lighthouse is located in the middle of the island at a height of 90 m, therefore it is not recommended for older people or those with health problems. The spacious building features two four-bedroom apartments. There are two sandy beaches on the north and south side of the island, and are suitable for small children due to shallow waters and fine pebbles.

SAILOR

The lighthouse memorial, one of the symbols of Split, is the main attraction on the waterfront of Diocletian’s city. Monument to fallen sailors was built in 1958 and consists of the lighthouse, ossuary and relief, and is 33 meters high with 5792 glass prisms. It was restored and finally opened in 2013 and fully ensures navigation. The lighthouse that really stands out from all of the others is worth to be visited while touring Split or entering the port of Split while on a sailing in Croatia so that you can catch his greeting light.
